Final of Everglades Mixed Fours contested
The final of the Everglades Mixed Fours was contested on Sunday, September 22.
The team of Deb McInnes, Val Davey, Vince Chand and Ken Young (22) defeated Peter Green, Wendy Ide, Jan Mower and Ian Richardson (15).
"Ken's side started very well winning the first four ends," said club secretary Mr Grant Ireland.
"However, Ian's side were back in the game after winning six consecutive ends, reeling the score back to 14/15 at one stage.
"Some fine bowling was demonstrated from all competitors."
