Little Aths looks for 'age managers'
The Woy Woy Peninsula Little Athletics Association is looking for "age managers".
The Association says it cannot function without them and each group needs someone to step up.
"Our age managers are responsible for getting their group to scheduled events, giving some basic instruction on what to do on the night, help coordinate the recording of results and hand out the weekly superstar award.
"We are currently in the process of finalising our age groups in the lead-up to the start of the season in a few weeks time.
"Committee members, volunteers and coaches are on hand to help on the night.
"We will also be holding an age managers' orientation training from 5-6pm on October 18.
"There are some good online resources available on the LANSW website you can check out.
"Age Managing is not a difficult job and it is a requirement that all parents stay with their children to assist the Age Manager.
"The role can easily be shared."
