Manager retires after 41 years at the one school

Ettalong Public School's administrative manager Ms Helen Denning has decided to retire, after having been involved with the school for 41 years.

Her three children attended the school and then in 1983 she was employed in the school office.

"Helen began working at our great school, the same day that Mr Bruce Donaldson entered duty as principal," said current principal Ms Jodie Campbell.

"Helen first started when paper enrolments were entered into a book by hand, then she used a typewriter and now they are online.

"She has seen many computer programs come and go through the Department of Education and many faces across her busy desk.

"Helen has supported many students, families, staff members and principals throughout her career.

"Helen's friendly, loyal and helpful nature will be missed in our day-to-day operations.
