Soccer team competes in soccer knockout semi-final
Woy Woy South Public School's boys' soccer team competed in the semi-finals of the PSSA State Knockout competition.
They faced a tough Beacon Hills team and were defeated 5-0 on this occasion.
However, the boys have had an outstanding year of soccer, according to school principal Mr Matt Barr.
"They represented our school with passion, teamwork, and most importantly, exceptional sportsmanship in every game.
"We are incredibly proud of their achievement, as this is the furthest any team from Woy Woy South has advanced in a knockout competition in soccer."
