Women celebrate 44 years in lifesaving
The women of Umina Surf Life Saving Club took over Saturday morning patrol on April 6, celebrating the 44 years of women in lifesaving.
Among the 20 women attending the "Women of Umina Patrol" were nine patrol captains, two current gold medallion holders, three IRB drivers, 10 IRB crew and five aquatic rescue award winners.
"The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter as we came together to celebrate the remarkable achievements of women in lifesaving."
