Free digital workshops resume after holidays
A series of free workshops for over-50s about customising smartphones will resume on May 14, after taking a break for the school holidays.
The classes are held from 10am to 12:30pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at the Ettalong Diggers Club.
The popular series is run by Digital Connect Central Coast, which reported "a great crowd of keen learners" at its workshop last week.
Topics included managing apps and the importance of a Google account or Apple ID.
After the break, Digital Mentor volunteers led small groups for Android and iPhone learners.
