Anzac services to be held in Woy Woy and Ettalong
Anzac Day services will be held in Memorial Park, Woy Woy, and at the Vietnam Veterans' Memorial at Ettalong on Anzac Day, Thursday, April 25.
A dawn service will be held from 5am in Woy Woy, with The Boulevarde closed from 4:45am.
Brickwharf Rd will also be closed as far as the carpark entry past Memorial Park.
The Vietnam Veterans Central Coast sub-branch will hold a wreath-laying ceremony at 8am at Ettalong.
The main service at Woy Woy will start at 10:30am.
Blackwall Rd will be closed from 9:30am from the roundabout at Victoria Rd to Oval Ave, to allow a march, involving local schools, to proceed from the commuter carpark to Memorial Park.
School groups are expected to gather in George St and the carpark at about 9:45am.
Oval Ave, Chambers Place and The Boulevarde will also be closed.
Brickwharf Rd will be closed as far as the carpark entry past Memorial Park.
An Anzac Day service will also be held at Ettalong Bowling Club at 1:15pm.
Ocean Beach Surf Life Saving Club is also expected to hold a ceremony.
