Students receive awards at assembly
Woy Woy Public School has given a number of its students awards at its K-6 assembly.
Recipients included Lucas Malloy of KC for consistent effort and attitude towards his learning, and Saraya Waters of KS for consistent enthusiasm and effort in all areas of learning.
Axyl Barrett of 1B received an award for always having a positive attitude to his learning and consistently striving to complete his work to a high standard, while Leeland Ratahi of 1R was awarded for showing creativity and imagination in narrative writing samples.
Year 2 recipients were Sadie Egan of 2M for showing great maturity and resilience when navigating the unexpected and Knox Otto of 2B for outstanding effort and application in writing.
Awards went to Harriet Van Der Neut of 3/4LE for outstanding effort and application in all learning areas, to Sasha Bury-Misic of 3/4W for outstanding application in creative writing and to Elsa Zhu 3/4M for fantastic use of adjectives in her writing.
Nixon Young of 4/5B won an award for outstanding effort and results in his writing.
Other awards went to Imogen Strong of 5/6Y for great results in English and Maths assessments, to Noah Mitchell 5/6F for improved application and efforts to his learning, and to Jack Sainty 5/6G for outstanding results in number and algebra assessments.
Bella Rowe of K-6C received an award for improved effort in writing skills and Jack Cross of K-6W received one for improved work ethic.
