Woytopia festival adds free clothes swap
The Woytopia sustainable living festival will be held on Sunday, October 13.
Woytopia combines green living talks and market stalls with live music, and children's entertainment and food stalls.
This year a free clothes swap will be held in the morning.
"A clothes swap is a fantastic way to exchange those items you've outgrown or got bored with, and bring home some exciting new looks, for free," Woytopia event manager Mr Julian Bowker said.
"It's fun, and it helps reduce the more than 200,000 tonnes of clothing that goes into landfill every year in Australia.
"We would encourage people to bring good, stylish clothes to swap; if everyone brings quality, everyone walks away with quality.
"People can come down in the morning, get a bunch of new clothes, grab a coffee and something to eat, and enjoy some music and all the other things at Woytopia into the bargain."
Items for the clothes swap may be dropped off between 10am and 11:30am at the festival.
The swapping will start at 11.30am.
The festival itself runs from 9am to 4pm.
Stalls at the festival will also be selling eco-friendly clothing as well as natural bodycare and jewellery.
Woytopia takes place in the grounds of Woy Woy South Public School.
Entry is free.
No dogs allowed in the school's grounds.
