Children invited to try pickleball
A "come and try" pickleball day will be held for 7-12 year olds at the Peninsula Leisure Centre between 12:30pm and 2pm on Sunday, September 22.
The event is organised by local pickleball coach Mr Tomas Vana and has a cash participation fee of $5 to cover hall hire.
"The event is aiming to introduce pickleball to our local juniors," said organiser Mr Vana.
"The game is the most growing game on the planet.
"It is already well established among our seniors."
Registration closes tomorrow, Tuesday, September 17.
