Patonga firefighters join in mopping up after burn

Two members of Patonga Volunteer Rural Bush Fire Brigade joined other brigades on Wednesday, September 4, to carry out mopping up after a hazard reduction burn organised by the National Parks and Wildlife Service.

The day was spent patrolling one of the boundaries in the Bouddi National Park extinguishing hotspots and watching for flare-ups.

On the following Saturday, the brigade joined in a hazard reduction burn at Cooranbong.
