Association to present 'Food and Wine Fare'

Pearl Beach Food and Wine Fare will be presented by the Pearl Beach Progress Association from 10am to 4.30pm on Saturday, October 26.

The event is free and will be held in Pearl Beach Memorial Hall, 9 Diamond Rd, Pearl Beach.

"This year we welcome back well known favourites including award winning Little Creek Cheese, Hunter Olives, Sweet As chocolates, Natural Hive Honey, Enokido Miso, Spiralz Fermented Foods, For the Luv of Cakes and the Original Smoke and Spice Co," said association publicity officer Ms Lynne Lillico.

"We have a Pearl Beach selection from local suppliers including Mountain Pride Eggs, Margin's Mushrooms, Crooked Creek savoury biscuits, and a selection of Burnt Honey produce.

"Wineries coming are Old Inn Road Winery, Millbrook Estate Winery and The Mulled Wine Co.

"Refreshments and light lunches will be available on the hall back deck at attractive prices..

"There will be a hamper raffle with contents provided by the participants.

"Proceeds go toward the upkeep and management of the Pearl Beach Memorial Hall."

Ms Lillico said: "The community activity attracts large crowds who enjoy tasting and purchasing from a select range of Hunter and local boutique wines and gourmet foods."
