Umina wins in three pennant grades

Umina Beach Men's Bowling Club has won three of its five games in Round 9 of Open Pennant competition on Saturday, April 27.

In the Seconds, Umina Beach defeated Canton Beach 68-38 at Canton Beach to take 10 points.

All three sides had wins, with Mark Hogden's team winning 30 - 14.

The other two sides had a five-shot and nine-shot win respectively.

In the Fifths, Umina Beach defeated Everglades 61-50 at Umina Beach to take 10 points.

Umina Beach sides won by two shots, fours shots and five shots.

Umina's other win was in 7 Blue, with Umina Beach defeating Davistown 78-55, taking 10 points to one.

Ted Gentle side had a big win, while Ken Harrison's side had a one-shot loss.

In the Sixths, Umina Beach lost to Gwandalan 42-77 at Umina Beach, but taking one point in the process.

Umina Beach 7 Red team lost to Gwandalan 45-67 at Gwandalan.
