Anzac Pairs held as red point bridge event
Brisbane Water Bridge Club had 15 pairs contest its Anzac Pairs red point event held on Anzac Day, April 25.
Hope Tomlinson and Barry Foster took the honours scoring a 65 per cent win, five per cent above the nearest challengers.
Club stalwarts Karen Ody and Jim Routledge picked up second spot, with Sue Eastman and Helen White taking third, edging out Judy Wulff and David Adams.
The club hopes to run a rookie contest with each red point event.
However, the numbers were just not there as a minimum of three tables is needed to go ahead.
