Unaware of Acknowledgement of Service
Earlier this month, for the first time, I was pleased to learn the Federal Government had adopted an Acknowledgement of Service.
I have referred this to other veterans who, like me, were unaware of the Government's action.
I have also referred this matter to the Member for Robertson Dr Gordon Reid for background advice and have discussed it with Dr Reid's staff face-to-face.
When was the Acknowledgement adopted? Where and when does it apply?
Has there been a gradual decline in veterans' support which necessitated this adoption?
I now await advice from Minister for Veterans Affairs Mr Matt Keogh.
His reply will be of interest to veterans.
