Peninsula artist exhibits landscape paintings
Peninsula artist Marilyn Creery is currently exhibiting her landscape paintings in Woy Woy.
She said her paintings tried to capture the soul of Woy Woy, Umina Beach, Patonga, and the West MacDonnell Ranges.
Ms Creery said she found her inspiration in nature.
She said her paintings were often created in the moment, immersed in the landscape.
Her exhibition Discover the Beauty of Landscapes Through Art can be found on the walls of Gnostic Mana Cafe in Woy Woy during November.
She said her works conveyed not only the scenic beauty of the beaches and surrounding bushland of the Peninsula but also the essence of unique places such as the West MacDonnell Ranges.
"This exhibition is an opportunity to see your favourite local vistas from a fresh perspective, with a coffee in hand," she said.
