Library system unavailable during software upgrade
Computer systems at libraries on the Peninsula will unavailable for a week from Thursday for a software upgrade.
According to a website post by Central Coast Council, the new Polaris will offer improved services and a better experience for both our staff and library members.
While the system is offline, the libraries will remain open with regular hours, and be available to borrow library materials.
No due dates will fall between Saturday, August 17, and Wednesday, September 4.
Members who access eResources and Library@yourtime can continue to use these services as usual.
New features will include easy and powerful searching, suggestions and improved accessibility.
Library staff are being trained in the new system.
