Reid calls for The Esplanade to be resurfaced
Member for Robertson Dr Gordon Reid is asking that The Esplanade in Ettalong be resurfaced as a priority.
He has written to Central Coast Council Administrator Mr Rik Hart "concerning the road condition of The Esplanade, between Kourung St and Beach St, Ettalong".
"The Esplanade requires urgent resurfacing works as the condition of the road is no longer suitable for motorists to drive safely upon.
"The Ettalong beach foreshore is one of the region's primary destinations for residents and tourists.
"The Esplanade is adjacent to the foreshore and is used to access beachside amenities.
"Considering the importance of this road to our region's economy, arrangements must be made for Central Coast Council to resurface The Esplanade."
