MP joins students
Staff and students at Ettalong Public School welcomed parents and friends, and their local MP, to celebrate NSW Education Week on August 5.
Member for Gosford Ms Marie Andrews also joined students and their families for a special visit.
"We just loved having all the families in to see what our wonderful kids are doing in our classrooms," school principal Mr Colin Wallis said.
"We had dance performances, school choirs, a guitar ensemble ... even a touch of Bollywood."
Ms Andrews spent the morning at the school and after performing official duties opening the school's new cricket nets and long jump pits, she spent time with the children in their classrooms enjoying their work.
