Documentary about Palestinian struggles screened
Central Coast Friends of Palestine will screen the documentary film Where Olive Trees Weep at the Mingaletta hall, Umina, from 6pm on Thursday, July 18.
"The film offers a window into the struggles and resilience of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation," said organiser Ms Catherine Sharpe.
"It features amongst others, renowned physician and trauma specialist Dr. Gabor Mate."
"This event is for young and old, the well informed and the fresh and inquisitive.
"We encourage all to come along and be a part of what we expect to be a powerful evening."
Tickets costing $10 will be available at the door or online at https://kinema.com/events/where-olive-trees-weep-ssl43s.
All proceeds will be donated to local and Palestinian charities.
