Steady flow of visitors at Bays Art Show
The Bays Art Show attracted a steady flow of visitors last weekend to view to works of 60 Central Coast artists in the Bays Community Hall at Woy Woy Bay.
The show, which ran from Friday to Sunday, July 5 to 7, included paintings, drawings, photography, mixed media, sculptures, and prints.
Art show co-ordinator, artist Ms Naomi Veitch, said: "This year we cast the net wide, welcoming 60 artists from all over the Central Coast to display more than 100 artworks.
"This was an opportunity for Central Coast artists to showcase their talent and sell their artwork."
The Bays Community Group president Mr Sam Bunyan said: "The Bays Art Show opening is always a sell-out event with an opportunity to hear from and meet our local artists, connect with our community and purchase some of the incredible artwork featured on the Central Coast."
Mr Bunyan said The Bays Community Group organised regular events such as a monthly breakfast and the annual Bays Art Show, "so our residents can get to know each other and keep in touch".
"We are lucky to have our own Bays Community Hall to host these events.
"Our beautiful hall was built and donated to the community in the 1950s."
