Good news for council election
Good news! Mr Kevin Brooks is a candidate for September's local government election.
The highlight of a council meeting at Wyong is listening to Mr Brooks in the public forum, which has always been at a standard above that of the Administrator and senior council staff.
Needless to say the gallery has been appreciative of his oration, contrasting to the response from the official bench.
State and Local Governments are now on notice for change following the election.
Residents have suffered while politicians have passed-the-democracy-parcel to Administrators for rejection.
The council chambers will immediately need to be enlarged if candidates of Mr Brooks' quality are elected.
This will add further discussion on the infamous amalgamation.
The first council meeting post-election could be an invitation-only event,
Instead of the council's regular advertising feature in the local media, could there be a "Freedom of speech" comment from a respected councillor for starters?
Mr Brooks should list on the stock market, as I believe he is a good investment.
