'Deferred matters' decision shows lack of good faith
I am a member of the Killcare Wagstaffe Trust.
We made a submission about the deferred matters in good faith that it would be taken seriously.
In a stunning lack of good faith, Council has produced a response that rejects the requests made in almost every submission made by community groups and individuals.
The main issue is the like for like commitment we were given at the beginning of the process.
Land that is adjacent to a National Park (or Coastal Open Space System land) and has vegetation that is indistinguishable from it and doesn't contain a dwelling, should be automatically assigned a C2 zoning.
The council's failure to do this is a clear failure to deliver on this commitment.
