Students visit Canberra
Ettalong Public School Year 6 students have visited Canberra at the end of last term.
"While in Canberra, our students participated in a variety of educational programs focused on Australia's history, culture, heritage and democracy," said principal Mr Colin Wallis.
"The Australian Government recognises the importance of all young Australians being able to visit their National Capital as part of their civics and citizenship education.
"To assist parents in meeting the costs of the excursion, the Australian Government is contributing funding under the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate program toward the travel expenses incurred."
