Selected for state championships
Brisbane Water Secondary College student Matt Cama competed in the Central Coast team for the NSW State Championships in rugby union recently.
His outstanding performance has allowed him a spot in the state squad for further games later this year.
The Woy Woy fullback travelled with other Central Coast players to Armidale for the three-day carnival that saw the besy schoolboy rugby players from across the state, according to Central Coast Rugby Union president Mr Larry Thomson.
"In cold and damp conditions the local team achieved considerable success," Mr Thomson said.
"Six players from the team were selected in the NSW CHS squad for further games later in the year."
