Council briefing on DLEP comments
Gosford Council is expected to be briefed on submissions from the Draft Local Environment Plan within the next two months, according to council's manager of integrated planning Mr Eddie Love said.
Mr Love said council staff were currently going through more than 1500 submissions that had been received as part of the public exhibition process.
He said a report would be made to council outlining the details of issues raised in submissions as well as a recommendation by council officers.
According to the director, some of the main issues that have been highlighted in submissions include zoning of council-owned bushland, short term lettings, sand-mining on the Somersby Plateau, medium density housing development controls and vegetation mapping.
