Celebrating her 105th birthday
A resident of a Umina aged care facility celebrated her 105th birthday on Friday, February 2.
Peninsula Villages resident Ms Joy Lewis celebrated her birthday surrounded by loved ones, including her friend Joyce and sister Yvonne.
Ms Lewis enjoyed a day filled with warmth and celebration, said Peninsula Villages chief executive Mr Colin Osborne.
"The joy on her face was truly contagious.
"Born in 1919, she has witnessed over a century of change and continues to inspire us all."
Joy is pictured holding a cherished family photo of a young Joy standing proudly next to her father, mother, brother and sister.
