Marine Rescue celebrates years of voluntary service
Members of Marine Rescue Central Coast have celebrated a combined contribution of just over 295 years of volunteer service.
The organisation held its awards night at the Gosford Golf Club on Tuesday, May 3, presenting members with Marine Rescue NSW long service award and National Medals.
Special mention went to Mr Sherwin Hensby who has volunteered with Marine Rescue and other emergency services for over 45 years.
Guests on the night included Member for Gosford Ms Liesl Tesch, Member for Terrigal Mr Adam Crouch, Marine Rescue NSW Deputy Commissioner Alex Barrell, Central Zone Commander Darren Schott and district operations manager Mr Steve Raymond.
