Anzac ceremony at Umina campus
Brisbane Water Secondary College held its Anzac Day Assembly on Thursday, May 5.
Guests included Mr Gordon Lawson from the Vietnam Veterans Association, and three serving naval personnel, who spoke to the students about their experiences.
The Umina campus school captains and vice-captains led the assembly, "which marked an immensely important day for the people of Australia and New Zealand", said campus principal Ms Kerrie O'Heir.
Teacher Ms Claire Briggs coordinated the event with the help of other staff and students.
