Canoe crawl

A Canoe Crawl of Patonga Creek was held for the local community, canoers and amateur nature photographers on Saturday, October 23.

Participants were able to bring along their canoe or ride on the punt, assessing conditions and issues and photograph areas of the creek line.

The day included a bushwalk through the saltmarsh regeneration area

Photographs from the event will be entered into a photographic competition.

This event was organised by the Community Environment Network as part of its Investigating and Remediating Coastal Issues in Patonga project.
