Gathering information
Woy Woy South Public School principal Terry Greedy is requesting students, parents and teachers to assist in gathering information required to carry out an internal evaluation of the school.
Each year, the school self-evaluation committee is responsible for reviewing the effectiveness of two programs that have been introduced during the year.
"This year, one area we will be evaluating is the changes that have been introduced into our mathematics teaching as part of the National Partnership in Numeracy program.
"The second area is the Positive Behaviour for Learning welfare program that is being introduced over the next two years" said Mr Greedy.
"To be in a better position to make informed decisions on the future directions for these programs, we would like to gain a clearer understanding of how students, parents and teachers feel about these programs at the school".
Surveys relating to the two programs are being sent to all families in the school.
