Umina parents' group is 'association of the year'
Umina Beach Public School has won the inaugural "P and C Association of the Year" award in the P and C Federation NSW Annual Volunteer Awards.
The association was judged to be the best of more than 2000 parents' groups throughout the State.
The award, one of the new awards categories introduced this year, was presented at the annual awards dinner on Saturday, October 29, at Novotel Sydney Central.
