Foxy Silvers Waterfront Picnic
Foxy Silvers Waterfront Picnic will be held on the waterfront at Lions Park, Woy Woy, from 11:30am to 1:30pm on Wednesday, September 28, as part of the Coastal Twist Festival.
"Foxy Silvers is our regular monthly social club for people of diverse sexualities and genders aged 55 and over," said creative director Ms Glitta Supernova.
She said it was an initiative to empower them to lead rich and stimulating social and cultural lives, while creating new friendships and building community connections.
"The goal is to build community through social, cultural and creative programs and events, including regular coffee catchups, film evenings, and group outings."
The picnic is for them, their carers and families.
"Join us as part of the buzz and vibrancy.
"Bring a rug, some nibbles and lunch and, if you're feeling generous, a plate to share.
"We cannot wait to see you, so come along and catch up with old friends or make some new ones as we celebrate together.
"This is a free event, but you must be registered to attend and we will update you on any weather and Covid changes
Lions Park is off North Burge Rd, Woy Woy.
