Umina Beach Women's Kingfisher Carnival
The Umina Beach Women's Kingfisher Bowls Carnival was played Monday and Tuesday, September 12 and 13.
The carnival was contested by 18 teams on the Monday and 16 teams played on the Tuesday.:

1st: Umina - Val Ware (played morning) Lynne Gordon, Julia Haigh, Pam Fishen (played afternoon) and Judith Moroney (two wins, 22 ends, margin 54).
2nd: Everglades - Margaret McEwan, Jeanette Jenkins, Maureen Jackson and Judith Maddison (2 wins, 21 ends, margin 15).
3rd: Ettalong - Karen Croker, Robyn Holden, Margaret Smith and Tess Koutsellis (2 wins, 17 ends, margin 24).
Mystery prize was won by Everglades - Geraldine Baxter, Pat Bray, Sandra Medhurst and Lyn Lalor.

1st Ettalong - Betty Wright, Marie Woodbine, Annette Jesaveluk and Carol Edwards (2 wins, 22 ends, 34 margin).
2nd Composite Everglades-Avoca - Vicki Redrup, Josie Goodwin, Alice Diamond and Anne Dixon (2 wins, 20 ends, 20 margin).
3rd Umina - Lynne Gordon, Kerrie Richens, Pam Fishenden and Judith Moroney (2 wins, 18 ends, 11 margins).
