Volunteers wanted to socialise with elderly residents
The dementia care provider in Woy Woy is looking for volunteers to socialise with their elderly residents.
Country Women's Association branch president Ms Jane Bowtell is spreading the word, saying that is needed is to have some time available and a desire to brighten the day for some of our elderly community, and to let HammondCare know.
"Whether you participate in a particular activity such as bingo, lawn bowls, card games, art and craft, or just have a cuppa and a chat, the residents are grateful for it all."
