Cannabis charge

Brisbane Waters police have arrested and charged a 33-year-old Umina man for the possession and cultivation of cannabis on Monday, December 13.

Police seized 10 large cannabis plants with an approximate value of $60,000 and a hydroponic set up from the garage of a home in Poziers St, Umina.

The bust is the second of its kind in the last week with a man and woman from Gosford and a man from Macmasters Beach arrested as part of a state wide crime command operation.
