Parking restriction to be enforced
Gosford Council will enforce a four-hour parking restriction on the lower levels of Woy Woy Commuter Car Park, according to a council report.
The parking restriction will be temporary until construction works to upgrade the commuter car park have been completed.
"The construction of the car park will displace customer parking from both the ground floor and first floor of the Deepwater Plaza car park throughout the period during which this car park is being demolished and a new multi-deck car park is being built on the same site to provide parking for Deepwater Plaza customers on the lower floors and parking for commuters on the upper floors," the council report stated.
"Agreement reached with the Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation and Deepwater Plaza is for the ground floor and for the first floor of the existing multi-deck to be altered from commuter parking to shopper parking for the period of construction of the car park expansion.
"It is intended that the shopper parking be established on the same basis as for the displaced Deepwater Plaza parking with four-hour parking restriction enforced through agreement by council rangers."
The signage was installed by TIDC on April 19, at no cost to council.
