Continued?

Fred Landman's excellent article on Ettalong Hall reminded me of the visit of actress Sarah "the devine" Bernhardt.

On her visit to the Cox family on Brickwharf Rd, Woy Woy, workmen made up a bridge so Sarah wouldn't get her feet wet.

The bridge was name the Sarah Bernhardt Bridge.

She had many lovers as she had stage roles and she lived briefly with an Australian lover on Goat Island, I think.

Fred Landman has emerged as the new Charles Swancott (an early historian) of Woy Woy.

I hope his work will soon lead to a publication of a book.

Say, "The Woy Woy Story Continued"?
