Renovations at Leisure Centre

Central Coast Council will be closing parts of the Peninsula Leisure Centre from June 19 to July 2 for renovations.

The pool hall will be closed from June 19 to 23.

The Centre will have a partial re-opening from June 24 to July 2, with the Leisure Pool remaining closed and access to the Program Pool restricted.

During this time Learn to Swim and Aqua Fitness classes will run but no other access to the pool will be available.

The complete re-opening is expected on July 3.

The $500,000 renovation will include: refurbishment of the sauna and steam room showers; general repairs and repainting; enhanced sports hall lighting; new starting blocks and timing equipment; and a new water heating system for the Program Pool.
