Village choir performs at Somersby school
Peninsula Villages' resident choir held a special performance for primary school students at Somersby Public School on Friday, June 2.
The choir gave the children a 20-minute performance featuring an array of action songs for the kids.
Chief executive officer Mr Shane Neaves said the group enjoyed the performance and the chance to interact with school children as part of their community engagement program.
"The Peninsula Villages choir had been rehearsing for this event for some time and they couldn't wait to perform fun songs for the children.
"The songs encouraged kids to jump, clap, make motions with their hands and get their bodies moving.
"After the performance, the choir met with the school choir to exchange songs and discuss the potential for the groups to form a combined choir," said Mr Neaves.
