Boat festival rescheduled

The Davistown Putt Putt Regatta and Wooden Boat festival was held on Sunday, October 31, after being rescheduled from the previous Sunday due to adverse weather.

This year's festival was the first in 13 years to be rescheduled and onlookers were greeted with sunny and warm conditions.

Among the attractions were a procession of heritage vessel and villainous pirates from the Mad Cow Theatre who took possession of the foreshore and gave away 1000 gold doubloons.

John Robinson of Woy Woy was the 2010 winner of the prize for the Best Half Cabin Putt Putt.

Mr Robinson was also the winner of the Skipper's Raffle.
