Lions Club presents indoor bowls mat

Woy Woy Peninsula Lions Club recently attended BlueWave Living to formally present the residents with a new indoor bowls mat and storage roller.

"The new mat will get plenty of use and enjoyment by the residents at BlueWave Living and the roller will assist the staff and volunteers with the management, rolling up and storage of the mat," said Ms Kylie Scott on behalf of the club.

Woy Woy Peninsula Lions Club has been an active supporter of BlueWave Living for the past 30 years.

In this time, the club has donated a total of about $100,000.

BlueWave Living is home to 139 elderly residents.

"Lions Club are always looking for new members," Ms Scott said.

"It's a great place to make new friends and have fun while serving your community."
