Planning breaches are investigated, says council chief
Allegations of businesses operating without approval are investigated when they are reported to Council, according to Central Coast Council chief Mr Ron Noble.
He was responding to questions about how a metal depot had allegedly been able to operate for 30 months at the old Woy Woy abattoir site without approval.
Mr Noble said it was "not appropriate" for the Council to comment further on the metal depot's operation "at this time".
"The business in question has now lodged a DA with Council and all matters relating to its operation will be considered in the assessment process."
