Carols on the Beach was a not-so-silent night

Umina Beach Public School held its "Carols on the Beach" on Monday, December 2.

Neighbours were advised in advance of the "not-so-silent", which ran from 5pm to 8pm.

"This is a much-anticipated community event for our students, staff and families," they were told.

"We trust you'll enjoy the toe-tapping entertainment, perhaps sing along with us and appreciate the spirit of this special event."

Principal Ms Karen Wardlaw said: "It was a thrill to watch each performance and see our students shine on stage."

She thanked the parents and citizens association for its "vision, planning, organisation and commitment which ensured the night was a success".

She said the school's "amazing staff provided such fantastic opportunities for our students to showcase their skills and talents".
