Brigade responds to 'bush and structure alight'
Sirens were sounded, as the Pearl Beach fire brigade responded to a call of "bush and structure alight" in Patonga.
The fire which started in a spa and spread briefly to adjoining bush was contained, but the spa was badly damaged.
The Pearl Beach brigade was joined by the Patonga RFS and Umina Fire and Rescue brigades to ensure the fire was brought quickly under control.
