Bowling club celebrates 65 years
The Umina Beach Women's Bowling Club celebrated its 65th birthday at its Presentation Day held on Tuesday, November 26.
A game of bowls was played in very hot conditions, followed by presentations at 12pm.
Life members Ms Lesley Swales and Ms Sue Craske joined club president Ms Pat Neal to cut the 65th birthday cake.
Members were asked to bring in toys to be given to needy families on the Peninsula.
This year Vinnies was asked to distribute the toys on the club's behalf.
