New kiln for arts and crafts centre
The pottery shed at Ettalong Beach Arts and Craft Centre is about to get a new kiln.
"One of our very old kilns stopped functioning, after many many years of great service," said president Ms Sue Sullivan.
"The kiln was very heavy, and presented challenges for its removal from the shed and to get it onto the truck.
"But ingenuity prevailed and the removal was successfully completed.
"We are now awaiting the delivery and installation of a new kiln."
